Ballerup, Denmark and Redwood City, CA, USA – October 13, 2019 – Norlase is excited to announce that it has appointed Andrew Berkowitz to the position of Vice President of Global Sales. Mr. Berkowitz brings over thirty years of ophthalmic device experience to Norlase, having previously held national and global sales positions at successful ophthalmic companies, including laser manufacturers IRIDEX, Optimedica and Topcon. He will be responsible for growing global sales of Norlase’s innovative laser technologies, including the recently launched LEAF green laser photocoagulator.

Prior to joining Norlase, Mr. Berkowitz spent over 30 years in ophthalmic sales, helping bring over 32 products to market. Products Mr. Berkowitz sold include the first solid-state ophthalmic photocoagulator and first pattern scanning ophthalmic photocoagulator. Andrew recently held a National position at Alcon.
